When talking about it isn't enough
Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that works below words. It helps your nervous system process what insight alone can't reach — so the thing you understand perfectly can finally stop running the show.

What Brainspotting is
Where you look affects how you feel. Brainspotting uses that link: certain points in your visual field connect to where distress is stored in the brain and body. By holding attention on that spot with steady support, your system can process and release what it has been holding.
It's deep and direct, but also contained. You stay in control the whole time, and you never have to retell details you'd rather not revisit.
What a session looks like
1. We settle in
We start by getting grounded together and naming what you'd like to work on — no pressure to tell the whole story.
2. We find your brainspot
Guided by where your eyes rest, we locate the point that connects to what you're feeling in your body.
3. Your brain processes
You stay with the spot while I stay with you. Your system does the sorting — often without much talking at all.
4. We close carefully
We slow down, check in, and make sure you leave the session settled and resourced.
Brainspotting sessions run 1 hour 15 minutes and are held virtually across California.
What it helps with
- Trauma and PTSD, including experiences you can't fully put into words
- Anxiety that lives in your body — tight chest, clenched jaw, racing mind
- Chronic stress and burnout that rest alone doesn't fix
- Grief, shame, and old patterns that keep resurfacing
- Performance blocks in work, sport, creativity, and public speaking
Is it right for you?
Brainspotting tends to fit people who say some version of: "I know why I'm like this, and I still feel the same." If you've done talk therapy, read the books, and can explain your patterns better than anyone — but your body hasn't gotten the memo — this is often the missing piece.
We can also blend it with talk therapy, so you're never locked into one format.
